Patricia Gibson, LPC

Hello! My name is Patricia, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia with 35 years of professional work experience. I have provided therapy in a variety of settings to adults that include outpatient, inpatient, community based and now through online services. I like to utilize CBT therapy which is cognitive behavioral therapy. This form of therapy develops insight into our thoughts which affect our emotions that directly influence our behavior, so by capturing negative thoughts to reframe, one can improve one’s emotions/behaviors thus improving life! I desire to work alongside to educate and teach the skills needed to improve one’s mental health and the means to manage life stressors! My view on life is to focus on the windshield, and not the rearview mirror so you can move forward to the good that lies ahead, and not limited by the negative past! My availability is on Tuesday and Thursday, mornings, or afternoons. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage! I am here to support you in the process to achieve your wellness goals!
